She started working as a special educator with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in 1998, and has since then specialized in these fields. Her professional experience includes work in the public sector as a psychologist and manager (CRDI-TED, CSDM).<\/p>\n<p>She started private practice in 2006 providing evaluations and therapies for children. Since 2011, her practice has almost exclusively been focused on providing autism diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. She completed her studies in clinical psychology in Switzerland in 2006 and has worked in autism and developmental disabilities since 2004, initially as an ABA therapist.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Rangel received specific training in the ADI-R and ADOS as well as the ADOS-2 diagnostic tools by certified trainers in order to complete autism diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. She is also trained in the usage of various psychological evaluations for developmental and cognitive abilities. She has worked at a CRDI in Montreal since 2007 and has developed a deep-rooted understanding of the public health services and school systems in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>Her interests include early intervention, particularly Verbal Behavior and peer observational learning as well as TEACCH strategies.
